Women of the Bible
As Saint Jerome said, “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ,” our goal is to spread the Word of God as far and wide as we can.

We explain the cultural, historical and religious thought of the time. Included in each presentation is an illustration (story) that explains how the Biblical readings being studied relate to the present day. The Bible is not a book of the past; its messages are as meaningful today as they were over 2000 years ago.
This site also has presentations that cover Defending the Faith topics, topics that explain and defend the Catholic faith.
Apologetics

One of our presentations explains the Catholic Mass. It helps the group to understand that the Mass and the Passover are intensely related.

Is there a relationship between the Jewish “Thank Offering” and the Mass?

Catholics believe that the Body and Blood of Christ really become present through the actions of the priest. But how is that possible? It still looks like an unleavened wafer and wine to me.

These and many other topics are discussed and explained in the presentations.

In the apologetics/Defending the Faith section we will answer such questions as this:

One of my friends tells me that Catholics are idol worshipers because they worship statues and the crucifix. Is that true? No! We will give you a Biblical explanation of why we don’t worship statues that will help you explain Catholic practices to your friends.

Presentations at this site

One presentation that generates a large interest gives a group an overview of the Bible from beginning to end, we call it, the "Bible and You," and can be found on the Defending the Faith page.  Typically the presentation

will take an hour and a half to two hours with a period for questions at the end. The presentation, as you might imagine, moves quickly.
